Massive fire reported in Russia's Kursk city center, possibly at military base
A fire broke out today in the city center of Kursk, Russia. A military base may be the likely site of the emergency, according to the interim governor of the Kursk region and local Telegram channels.
60 firefighters and 10 units of special equipment are involved in the firefighting. The fire has been reportedly localized.
Official sources do not specify information on where the fire happened. As monitoring groups and local Telegram channels report, the fire engulfed a large Russian military base stationed in Kursk.
According to OSINT researchers, the 3754th Central Aviation Technical Base (military unit 13830), which houses a large number of vehicles that service aviation, is on fire.
