Initial reports of the fire appeared in local Telegram channels, after which the incident was confirmed by the city's mayor.
"A fire broke out outside the community area. The situation is fully under control - State Emergency Service units are working on-site. Rescuers are taking all necessary measures, and the fire will be extinguished shortly," Hulaiiev wrote.
Chornomorsk Mayor also urged residents to remain calm and rely only on official sources of information.

Russian attacks on Chornomorsk
Russia frequently targets Chornomorsk with drone strikes, and occasionally with missiles. These attacks have caused various types of damage in the city.
For example, on the night of August 31, Russia launched its largest attack on Chornomorsk since the beginning of the full-scale war. As a result, the city lost power, leaving about 29,000 customers without electricity.
During the restoration works, authorities provided water and electricity using generators.
