So now, martial law and mobilization will remain in Ukraine until November 15, 2023.
Martial law
Martial law in Ukraine was introduced due to the full-scale armed aggression of Russia.
This particular legal regime grants authorities of state power, military command, military administrations, and local government bodies the necessary capabilities to counter the threat.
Mobilization
In Ukraine, general mobilization is also in effect. That means that men aged 18 to 60 are considered liable for military service and are subject to military conscription.
In the first place, the recruitment of combat troops is conducted from reserves, former participants of the Anti-Terrorist Operation and Joint Forces Operation, with a gradual increase in the number of units with military personnel and conscripts who have completed their service.
Those mobilized who have not previously served in the military are directed to undergo professional training at training centers. After completion, they are sent to join units engaged in combat operations.
