Macron open to deploying nuclear weapons on allied territories

France is considering deploying its nuclear weapons on allied territories to replace the United States' nuclear arsenal in Europe, Le Figaro reports, citing the French President Emmanuel Macron.
According to Macron, he is ready to deepen cooperation with European partners on nuclear deterrence.
"Those who wish to deepen dialogue with us will be able to participate in deterrence force exercises if necessary. These exchanges will contribute to the development of a true strategic culture among Europeans," the French President said, emphasizing that France’s nuclear doctrine remains unchanged.
Nuclear weapons
According to US President Donald Trump, denuclearization could become a key initiative for global security, and China and Russia could also join this process.
The New York Times, citing intelligence data, reported that Iran is exploring a faster approach to developing nuclear weapons.
Meanwhile, media reports suggest that France could deploy its nuclear-armed fighter jets in Germany.
