Lviv under attack: Loud explosions reported across multiple districts

Explosions are currently being heard in Lviv on the night of July 12, as the city is under drone attack, according to Lviv Regional Military Administration head Maksym Kozytskyi.
The Lviv region is experiencing a massive drone attack overnight.
As of 3:25 a.m. Kyiv time, Kozytskyi reported that around ten enemy Shahed-type drones were present in the region.
“There are several Shahed drones in the airspace over the Lviv region. Air defense is already engaging them,” the statement reads.
Additionally, according to the Regional Military Administration, a significant cluster of enemy drones has been detected near the border of Lviv and Ternopil regions, indicating a possible intensification of attacks soon.
Local authorities are urging residents to remain in shelters and closely follow official updates regarding the situation in the region.
“In Lviv, explosions are being heard in various districts. The Shahed threat remains for the city. Stay in shelters,” wrote Lviv Mayor Andrii Sadovyi on Telegram.
Currently, the air raid alert covers almost the entire territory of Ukraine, except Zakarpattia.
Powerful explosions were also reported in Lutsk amid the ongoing Shahed drone attack.
