Luxembourg, Montenegro join G7 Declaration on security guarantees for Ukraine
Luxembourg and Montenegro have decided to join the G7 Declaration on providing security guarantees to Ukraine, according to President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Luxembourg
"I am grateful to Luxembourg for joining the G7 Declaration on security guarantees for Ukraine," the statement reads.
Zelenskyy thanked Luxembourg and its people for unwavering support to Ukraine, based on shared democratic ideals and common interests of the Euro-Atlantic family.
Montenegro
"At the meeting with President Jakov Milatovic, I thanked Montenegro for its humanitarian, military, and political support, as well as for joining the G7 Declaration on security guarantees for Ukraine," Zelenskyy says.
According to him, they discussed Ukrainian Peace Formula and preparations for the Global Peace Summit.
G7 Declaration
During the July NATO summit held in Vilnius, the G7 states signed a declaration on security guarantees for Ukraine.
This initiative entails long-term support for Ukraine in security and economic issues. Any country can join it.
Yesterday, Greece joined the G7 declaration on security guarantees for Ukraine.
