An unknown number of nuclear warheads have been brought to Belarus. The Russian Oreshnik system may also be deployed in Belarus, states the self-proclaimed president of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, according to ASTRA.

"I brought nuclear warheads here. Not just a few dozen. Many are saying, 'Oh, it's a joke, no one brought anything.' They were brought. And the fact that they say it's a joke means they missed it. They didn't even notice how we brought them here," stated Lukashenko.

At the same time, Lukashenko announced plans to deploy the Oreshnik missile system in Belarus. The search for an appropriate test site is currently underway.

"We will deploy and target them. My condition to Putin was simple: 'We in Belarus will determine the goals, not the Russians. But you will help to exploit them.' So, we will press the button together, God forbid if it's needed. But the targets will be determined by us," Lukashenko said.

Deployment of Oreshnik in Belarus

Recently, Lukashenko appealed to Vladimir Putin with a request to deploy the Oreshnik missile system on the territory of Belarus.

On November 21, the Russian army carried out a missile strike on Dnipro. The Ukrainian Air Force stated that the Russian forces had fired an intercontinental ballistic missile at Ukraine for the first time.

Later, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that the Russian army had conducted a test launch of the medium-range missile system Oreshnik. The Defense Intelligence clarified that the new missile was launched from the Kedr missile system.
