Aleksandr Lukashenko has issued threats toward Ukraine, claiming he is prepared to launch a retaliatory strike against what he described as one very serious target.
Response to Ukrainian commander's remarks
Lukashenko made the statement after Robert Brovdi, commander of Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces, better known by his call sign Madyar, said that Ukrainian forces had already identified 500 targets on Belarusian territory.
"They may have identified 500 targets. We are grateful that they have 500 targets on our territory. But we have one very serious target with precise coordinates, far from Belarus. They understand that, too," Lukashenko said.

Insults at Ukrainian military, dismissal of Zelenskyy's claims
In his remarks, the Belarusian leader once again used derogatory rhetoric, referring to Ukrainian service members, including Territorial Defense Forces personnel, as "cannon fodder" allegedly "rounded up from the streets."
Lukashenko also dismissed statements by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy regarding a potential military threat from Belarus, calling them "nonsense."
He claimed that Ukrainian troops supposedly "do not want any war with Belarus" as they understand the risks of opening an additional front stretching roughly 1,000 kilometers.
Background
Earlier, Unmanned Systems Forces Commander Robert "Madyar" Brovdi issued a sharp response to Aleksandr Lukashenko over the latest accusations by Minsk that Ukrainian drones had entered Belarusian airspace.
He urged the Belarusian leader not to provoke Ukraine and warned that Ukrainian forces had already identified the first 500 targets on Belarusian territory.
Meanwhile, Belarusian opposition leader Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya said that Lukashenko is completely dependent on Russian President Vladimir Putin. According to her, he is prepared to carry out any order from the Kremlin and sacrifice his country's sovereignty to keep his personal grip on power.
