India and Russia are increasingly turning to China, forming closer relations and joint prospects for cooperation, according to US President Donald Trump.

The US President said that India and Russia have effectively moved toward China, which he described as a "deepest, darkest, and China." According to him, these countries will now build their future together.

"Looks like we've lost India and Russia to deepest, darkest, China. May they have a long and prosperous future together!" Trump said.

Summit in China

More than two dozen foreign leaders, including Vladimir Putin, arrived in China recently. They all gathered for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit.

During this summit, Russia signed a new gas memorandum with China, which it calls a breakthrough. However, according to Andrii Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation, this is in fact a capitulation and recognition of vassal dependence on Beijing.

India remains the largest importer of Russian oil. Even Trump's tough tariffs have not stopped trade with Moscow.

Against this backdrop, Russia has even increased its oil discount for India in recent days.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi called on Vladimir Putin to end the war in Ukraine as soon as possible on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit.
