Lithuania acquired two NASAMS air defense for Ukraine
Lithuania has acquired two NASAMS launchers that will be transferred to Ukraine, said Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda in his Twitter post.
"Air defense is key in Ukraine's fight against the aggressor. Looking forward to more collective decisions on support to Ukraine at the NATO summit in Vilnius," he wrote.
Nauseda arrives in Kyiv
Today, on June 28, Lithuanian leader Gitanas Nauseda arrived in Kyiv on an undisclosed visit. Yesterday, he was in The Hague, where support for Ukraine was discussed.
Nauseda will meet with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Kyiv. The leaders will discuss the NATO summit in Vilnius, support for Ukraine, and EU accession.
It is also planned that the Lithuanian leader will attend events commemorating Ukraine's Constitution Day.
