Lifesavers on battlefield: Ukrainian Security Service's combat medics
The SSU Special Operations Center "A" has a unit of combat medics who have already saved the lives of hundreds of Ukrainian defenders, reveals the SSU press service.
The SBU notes that the work of special forces medics, whose information is classified, is the subject of the film "Combat medics. Death will wait" from the documentary series " SSU. Special Operations of Victory".
"These are real Special Forces officers. They perform their tasks close to the contact line. 10-15 kilometers from the front line, they perform complex surgical interventions and bring our comrades back from the dead. These are doctors blessed by God," said Vasyl Maliuk, the SSU Head.
According to him, the unit of combat medics in the Special Operations Center "A" was created after the outbreak of a full-scale war, following the example of the medical corps of the US, French and German armies.
Combat medics save not only the soldiers of the Special Operations Center "A", but also all soldiers of the Defense Forces.
The movie tells the story of soldiers who had almost zero chances of survival. In particular, one of them underwent an extremely complicated heart surgery near the front line.
Earlier, it was reported that over the past two weeks, the fighters of the Special Operations Center "A" managed to destroy 153 units of enemy equipment.
