Latvia delivers new batch of attack drones to Ukraine

Latvia has sent another 1,500 attack drones to Ukraine as part of the international Drone Coalition, according to Latvian Defense Minister Andris Sprūds.
“Another 1,500 combat drones are on their way from Latvia to Ukraine. In the first half of the year, two Latvian companies will deliver 12,000 drones as part of the Drone Coalition," Sprūds wrote.

Drones for Ukraine from Latvia
Latvia has recently supported investments in the production of Ukrainian drones. The Cabinet of Ministers of Latvia has supported investments in the Ukrainian drone industry for EUR 10 million.
The Latvian government has also earmarked another EUR 20 million for the purchase of drones under the Drone Coalition program this year.
On April 1, it became known that the Armed Forces of Ukraine would receive hundreds of new combat drones as part of military support from Latvia.
