Kyiv shaken by series of loud explosions amid ballistic missile threat

On the night of July 4, Kyiv was rocked by a series of powerful explosions amid a massive drone attack and ballistic missile threat, according to the press service of the Ukrainian Air Force.
“Ballistic missile strike on Kyiv,” the statement said.
Later, the Air Force reported another ballistic missile threat targeting the capital.

The Air Forces reported two high-speed targets heading toward Kyiv.
Attack on Kyiv
An air raid alert has been ongoing in Kyiv since 5:15 p.m. Kyiv time on July 3, with a 35-minute break. The metro is operating as a shelter. Drone debris has been recorded in five districts, and the consequences of the enemy attack have affected over 13 locations.
In the Dniprovskyi district, debris fell near an educational institution and residential buildings. In the Solomianskyi district, several fires broke out in residential buildings, and medical responders have been called to the scene. In the Sviatoshynskyi district, a fire occurred in a courtyard, with possible casualties reported.
In the Obolonskyi district, reports of a fire on the roof of a 16-story building were not confirmed. In the Darnytskyi district, drone debris fell on open ground without causing fire or detonation.
