Kyiv shaken by explosions amid latest Russian drone attack

Explosions were heard in Kyiv amid an attack by Russian Shahed kamikaze drones, according to the city’s mayor, Vitalii Klitschko, the Kyiv City Military Administration, and RBC-Ukraine's own correspondent.
"Air defense systems are active in the capital. Drones are approaching the city from different directions. Stay in shelters!" the mayor stated.
The Kyiv City Military Administration also reported that air defense forces are operating in the capital.
"We ask residents and visitors of the city to remain in shelters until the all-clear signal is given," the statement said.
Russian drone attacks
On the evening of Saturday, June 14, Russian forces launched Shahed kamikaze drones toward Ukraine.
The previous night, Russia attacked Ukraine with several dozen Shahed drones.
Zaporizhzhia was the hardest hit by the strike.
The drones destroyed a warehouse with humanitarian aid in the city.
