Kyiv’s metro damaged in strike: Impact and aftermath revealed

On the night of June 6, Russia launched a massive attack on Ukraine. Kyiv became the epicenter of strikes by ballistic missiles and Shahed drones, reports Mykola Kalashnyk, head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.
Due to the UAV strikes, metro tracks between the Darnytsia and Livoberezhna stations in Kyiv were damaged. There were no fires or casualties.

In total, debris from the enemy attack was recorded falling in the Holosiivskyi, Solomianskyi, Darnytskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, Desnianskyi, and Sviatoshynskyi districts of Kyiv.
Three people were injured: two were hospitalized, and one received medical assistance on the spot.
In the Holosiivskyi district, a fire broke out at a civilian infrastructure facility. In Solomianskyi, a residential high-rise caught fire, and an educational institution was also damaged. Rescuers evacuated three people from a burning apartment on the 11th floor. Additionally, a hangar of about 500 square meters is burning in the area.
In Shevchenkivskyi district, a non-residential building is on fire, while in Darnytskyi and Desnianskyi districts, debris from downed drones was found.
Russia plans to produce 2 million FPV drones this year for the war against Ukraine. Moscow also aims to manufacture 30,000 long-range drones and decoy drones.
Additionally, on June 4, a new meeting in the Ramstein format took place. According to Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, one of the discussion topics was the production of Ukrainian weapons in partner countries.
