In the early hours of Tuesday, November 25, Russia carried out a massive missile strike on Kyiv. The consequences of the hits in Ukraine’s capital were shown by rescue services, according to the Kyiv State Emergency Service (DSNS).

According to the rescuers, the enemy once again cynically shelled residential areas of the Ukrainian capital, causing damage to residential buildings and civilian infrastructure.

The DSNS released photos and videos of the strike’s aftermath, demonstrating the scale of the destruction and the work of emergency responders at the sites.

Meanwhile, Kyiv City Military Administration head Tymur Tkachenko reported six people injured, two of whom have been hospitalized.

Pecherskyi district

In the Pecherskyi district, a 22-story residential building was hit on the 4th–5th floors. The 4th, 5th, and 7th floors sustained damage. A fire broke out on the 5th floor, which was quickly extinguished. One person has been rescued so far, and emergency teams are continuing to clear debris and search for possible additional victims.

Dniprovskyi district

In the Dniprovskyi district, a 9-story residential building was hit. The 6th and 7th floors were damaged, and a fire broke out, threatening to spread further. Rescuers saved eight people, while four additional injured individuals sought medical assistance on their own.

Other locations

Another strike hit a 2-story building, but no fire broke out. In the Darnytskyi district, debris fell in an open area of the private sector, posing no threat to residents’ lives.

Rescuers emphasized that they are working promptly to eliminate the consequences of the attack, clear debris, and assist the injured.

Authorities urge residents to follow safety rules and pay close attention to official updates on the city’s situation.

In the early hours of Tuesday, November 25, Russian forces carried out a combined attack on the capital using Shahed attack drones and various types of missiles.

Additionally, the Russian army attacked the Kyiv region. The strike on peaceful settlements resulted in injuries to a 14-year-old girl in Bila Tserkva and damage to a multi-story building.
