During the night of October 22, Russian forces attacked the city of Brovary in the Kyiv region. A house caught fire as a result of the strike, and an elderly woman was hospitalized, according to Mykola Kalashnyk, head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.

"As a result of the enemy attack in Brovary, a private residential house caught fire. The fire was quickly contained," the statement at 02:17 AM Kyiv time said.

Kalashnyk also reported that a woman had been hospitalized. She was in shock.

"An elderly woman born in 1941, who was inside the house, was taken to the local hospital. She is in shock, but her condition is stable and under control," the regional governor added.

Russian strikes on October 22

In addition to the Kyiv region, Kyiv city also came under attack that night. Russian forces launched three waves of ballistic strikes on the capital, causing fires across the city.

Russian forces also attacked Zaporizhzhia with drones; nine strikes were reported, resulting in burning houses and at least one injury.

There were also reports of explosions in Izmail, Odesa region, after which the city experienced power outages, according to media reports.
