Russia launched a missile attack on Ukraine on the morning of January 8. As a result of a widespread air raid alert, there was chaos at some stations of the Kyiv metro due to many people hiding in there, according to local Telegram channels.
What happened in the Kyiv metro on January 8
Many people were seeking shelter from Russian missiles during the air raid alert in the subway, while some were on their way to work. As a result, some stations were so crowded that there was hardly any room to move.

The situation was similar at the Minska metro station. A large number of people can be seen in videos.
The Universytet metro station had less people, but Ukrainians were sitting on the floor there and on the chairs that subway workers gave them.
