Kyiv hit by second round of explosions in one night: What Russia uses in attacks

Early on Thursday morning, August 21, explosions were again heard in Kyiv. The city is under attack by Russian Shahed drones.
It should be noted that an air raid alert was declared in Kyiv as early as the evening of Wednesday, August 20, when Russian drones began attacking the city. Around midnight, explosions were reported, though no details on the impact of the first attack have been released.
Then, at approximately 04:00 Kyiv time on Thursday, August 21, the capital experienced another drone attack. According to the Kyiv City Military Administration, Shahed drones were spotted on the outskirts of the city.
Air defense forces were active within the city itself.
Massive attack on the night of August 21
During the night, Russia launched a large-scale, combined attack on Ukraine. Reports confirm the use of Shahed strike drones, cruise missiles, and Kinzhal hypersonic missiles. In addition to Kyiv, explosions were reported in Chernihiv and Rivne regions.
