Kyiv hit by Russian strikes: Official photos show aftermath

Due to the Russian attack, destruction and fires have been recorded in two districts of Kyiv. Rescue teams are working to eliminate the consequences of the Russian attack, reports the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
It is noted that rescue teams are working to eliminate the consequences at several locations in the city, including the Solomianskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts.
In the Shevchenkivskyi district, the ceilings of the 4th and 5th floors of a five-story building were damaged, with partial destruction of the roof due to the attack. A fire also broke out involving cars in the building’s courtyard.
“Using an aerial ladder and a three-section ladder, residents are being evacuated from the building. So far, seven people have been rescued, including one pregnant woman,” the report states.
Additionally, at one address in the Solomianskyi district, a fire on the roof of a business center was extinguished, while at another location, a fire broke out in a four-story office building covering an area of 800 square meters. Firefighting efforts are ongoing.
“Furthermore, fires have been recorded in open areas due to falling drone debris, and damage to non-residential buildings has been reported. Information regarding possible casualties is being clarified,” the statement adds.

Nighttime Russian attack
On the night of June 23, Kyiv was once again subjected to an attack by Russian drones and ballistic missiles.
Initially, the enemy struck the capital with strike drones, then used ballistic and cruise missiles.
As a result of the attack, residential buildings and an educational institution were damaged in the city.
Additionally, the exit of the Sviatoshyn metro station was damaged.
In the Kyiv region, houses were damaged, a hotel was destroyed, and there was a casualty.
