Kyiv hit by explosions as Russia unleashes Kinzhal missile threat

Explosions were heard in Kyiv amid an attack by strike drones and the threat of Kinzhal aeroballistic missile strikes, according to the city’s mayor, Vitalii Klitschko, and a correspondent on the ground.
The blast was heard at 12:30 a.m. Kyiv time in Kyiv and the surrounding region.
“Air defense is operating in the capital. Stay in shelters!” the mayor urged.
Earlier, monitoring channels reported the launch of a Kinzhal aeroballistic missile from a MiG-31 fighter jet.
