Kuleba to visit Brussels: Details of trip
Ukraine's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dmytro Kuleba, will visit Brussels on November 28 and 29, reports the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to the Ministry, on November 28, he is scheduled to hold talks with the EU's chief diplomat, Josep Borrell.
Kuleba will also speak at the opening of a conference on responsibility for Russian crimes in the European Parliament and inaugurate the VR exhibition 'Living the War.'
On November 29, he will participate in the first meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Council at the level of foreign ministers.
"Dmytro Kuleba will also conduct a series of bilateral meetings in Brussels, including with NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg and the foreign ministers of Alliance member states," the statement said.
Negotiations on Ukraine's EU accession
It's worth noting that last week, the European Commission released a report on Ukraine and other member countries' progress toward the European Union. In this document, the Commission recommended starting negotiations on Ukraine's accession to the EU.
According to EC President Ursula von der Leyen, our country has already fulfilled 90% of all the conditions for this. However, all EU leaders must support the initiative to start negotiations. They will consider this issue at the summit on December 14. Hungary has already announced that it does not support the start of negotiations on Ukraine's accession to the EU.
