Kremlin responds to Trump’s statement that Putin has completely gone crazy

Donald Trump, following Russian attacks on Ukraine, stated that Vladimir Putin has gone absolutely crazy. The Kremlin responded by saying that this reaction was caused by emotional overload on the part of the American president, according to Reuters.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov thanked the American people and Donald Trump personally for their help at the start of peace negotiations, but suggested that Trump and others may be experiencing emotional overload.
"This is a very crucial moment, which is associated, of course, with the emotional overload of everyone absolutely and with emotional reactions," Peskov stated.
Russia carried out massive attacks on Ukraine for three consecutive nights. On the night of May 26, it launched 355 drones and nine cruise missiles at Ukraine — the largest drone barrage since the start of the war.
"Something has happened to him (Putin). He has gone absolutely crazy!" Trump said about Putin on Truth Social, referring to Russia’s overnight assault.
"I've always said that he wants ALL of Ukraine, not just a piece of it, and maybe that's proving to be right, but if he does, it will lead to the downfall of Russia!" he added.
Trump also criticized Zelenskyy, saying the Ukrainian leader isn’t helping his country. "Everything out of his mouth causes problems, I don't like it, and it better stop," Trump wrote.
Commenting on the recent massive attacks on Ukraine, Trump also said that Washington is definitely considering the possibility of imposing sanctions against Russia.
