Kremlin: Putin has not made final decision on Miami G20 summit

Russian president Vladimir Putin has not yet decided whether he will attend the new G20 summit, says Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
According to Peskov, Moscow is in no hurry to draw far-reaching conclusions following the invitation for Putin to attend the G20 summit in the United States.
However, the Russian authorities view the fact of such an invitation positively.
The Russian spokesman said that Putin has not yet made a final decision, so the possibility of his visit to Miami remains an open question.
Peskov added that all circumstances will be taken into account when making this decision, but did not specify which ones.
He claims that Russia will actively participate in the work of the G20 in any case.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced on September 23 that Putin had been invited to the G20 summit, which will be held in Miami in December. This happened during the UN General Assembly.
Zelenskyy and Putin could meet at G20
Recently, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that he would like to hold a personal meeting with Russian leader Vladimir Putin during the G20 summit in Miami.
The Ukrainian leader said he could consider a trilateral meeting with US President Trump and the Kremlin chief at the G20.
The Russian authorities once again repeated that Putin is allegedly ready to meet with Zelenskyy exclusively in Moscow.
US senators called on Trump to cancel the invitation for Putin to attend the G20 summit.
Meanwhile, Germany's foreign minister explained how Putin's participation in the G20 could nevertheless help bring an end to the war against Ukraine closer.
