Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev publicly demanded that US President Donald Trump deal with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, according to a post on The Moscow Times Telegram channel.
The Russian official stated that Trump should task the Pentagon and the CIA with dealing with the Ukrainian president.
Medvedev alleged that Zelenskyy has become completely insolent toward Trump and is being thoroughly rude to him.
In his list of grievances against the Ukrainian leader, the former Russian president mentioned his support for Joe Biden, demands for financial and military assistance, and his alleged unwillingness to agree to peace negotiation proposals.
Medvedev also complained about the continuation of Ukrainian Armed Forces attacks on Russian oil refineries contrary to Donald Trump's position, the "misappropriation" of US aid, and the alleged escalation of the risk of a nuclear confrontation between Russia and NATO.
The Russian official further alleged that Zelenskyy regularly spits directly in the face of the US president, ignoring his calls and turning influential Americans and Europeans against him.
"What should Trump do with such a 'son of ****'? The answer is in American history. He just needs to call the Secretary of War and the CIA director and task them with fixing this unfortunate misunderstanding... The method, place, and manner do not matter," Medvedev's latest statement reads.
Putin acknowledged the impact of Western sanctions on Russia.
The Kremlin expects new negotiations with Ukraine and the US.
