Russian diesel fuel has already begun reaching global markets, but its impact on the overall situation will be limited, states Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, according to TASS.

"Large volumes of diesel fuel are now being released. This fuel has begun reaching global markets, and this will have a certain positive effect on stabilizing oil markets, although it will not be able to stabilize them completely. This also needs to be understood," Peskov said.

Against this backdrop, the Kremlin spokesperson once again began complaining about the position of European countries on the issue. He noted that Moscow considers Brussels’ approach "destructive."

Peskov lamented that the European Union is criticizing not only the agreement on diesel fuel but also US President Donald Trump personally for reaching a deal with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"But Europe has traditionally been acting as the party of war lately," the Kremlin spokesperson cynically stated.

Peskov did not stop there and baselessly accused Ukraine and its president, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, of derailing the energy truce, which was Russia itself that violated.

"The United States’ energetic efforts to advance the peace process are being thwarted by Kyiv’s and Zelenskyy’s personal unwillingness to pursue peace," the Kremlin spokesperson said.

Peskov recently blamed Trump after the energy truce with Ukraine collapsed.

Russia itself violated the energy truce within the first few hours by striking Thermal Power Plant No. 5 in Kharkiv.
