Russia attacked central Kremenchuk with drones, damaging the territorial recruitment and social support center and nearby residential buildings.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing local outlets Telegraf and Kremenchuk Gazette.

Today, July 6, at around 9:30 a.m., a series of explosions was heard in Kremenchuk.

The Russian army struck the building of the Kremenchuk District Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center.

Preliminary reports indicate no casualties among servicemen or center staff. However, nearby residential buildings were damaged by the explosions.

In addition, a kindergarten and an administrative building were also damaged.

Due to the incident in the city center, one of the roads has been closed. Emergency services and law enforcement are working on-site to deal with the aftermath.

The situation is under control of the local authorities.

The State Emergency Service reported that the attack caused a fire covering 700 sq. meters in a two-story building. As of 2:05 p.m., firefighters managed to extinguish the blaze.

Preliminary information reports one injured person. Fourteen residential buildings and five vehicles were damaged.

To manage the aftermath, 22 units of equipment and 87 rescuers were deployed. Psychologists, explosive ordnance disposal specialists from the State Emergency Service, and other relevant services are also working on site.

Attack on recruitment center in Kremenchuk

On the morning of July 6, Russian occupation forces attacked Kremenchuk with kamikaze drones. One enemy UAV hit the building of the district Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center, while another struck a nearby residential building.

According to the Ground Forces Command, preliminary reports indicate no injuries or deaths among military personnel or center staff. All necessary services are working at the impact sites, and the situation is under control.

Poltava Regional Military Administration head Volodymyr Kohut reported that the attack caused a fire on the premises of a private property. Emergency services have not received any reports of casualties.

Local residents reported explosions in the central part of the city. Part of the road in the strike area was closed.
