Russian forces attacked rescuers in Kramatorsk, Donetsk region, while they were extinguishing fires caused by a previous strike, the State Emergency Service (SES) of Ukraine reports.

“In Kramatorsk, rescuers came under repeated attack by the Russians: the city was heavily targeted by enemy drones. Fires broke out. While extinguishing a blaze in an administrative building, firefighters were hit again. Debris damaged a fire truck ladder,” the SES reported.

Fortunately, the rescuers were not injured. After stabilizing the situation, they resumed work and fully extinguished the fire.

In addition, SES personnel helped civilians who were trapped in their own apartments. In total, 15 enemy strikes were recorded across the city.

During the day on September 10, Russian forces again attacked Kramatorsk, Donetsk region. Three people were injured in the shelling, including a 16-year-old teenager.

Previously, on September 8, Russian forces attacked rescuers in Kramatorsk while they were extinguishing a fire. The strike was deliberate.

On August 29, Russians struck a Nova Poshta postal office in Kramatorsk with a drone, killing one person and injuring another.

On August 22, over the course of one hour, more than 30 explosions sounded in the city. During the day, Russian troops targeted the city’s private sector. Around ten explosions injured three people.
