The new Ukrainian sanctions package aims to block Russia's financial schemes, particularly those involving cryptocurrencies. It includes 60 companies and more than 70 Russian citizens on the list of restrictions, says Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

According to him, the sanctions package was coordinated with Ukraine's partners at Ukraine's initiative.

Starokostiantyniv in Khmelnytskyi region under fire: Russia attacks Ukraine with 300+ drones

Russia launched 322 drones at Ukraine overnight on July 5, with the main direction of the attack targeting Starokostiantyniv in the Khmelnytskyi region, according to the Ukrainian Air Force on Telegram.

Russian forces again fired two Kinzhal missiles at Ukraine. Both targets were aimed at Starokostiantyniv in the Khmelnytskyi region.

The Russians often try to strike this city because it is home to Ukraine's best airbase. At night, they usually attack the city with drones, sometimes launching missiles at it, including both Kinzhal missiles and cruise or ballistic missiles. However, all Russian efforts have been in vain.

Deadly flash flood in Texas: 24 killed, dozens of children missing

On the morning of July 4, sudden flooding began in central Texas. Kerr County was hit hard, with water rising 8-9 meters in just 45 minutes.

As a result of the storm, dozens of people died or went missing at the Mystic private children's camp, where 700 people were staying. Among the dead were camp director Dick Eastland, who was rescuing people until the very end, and three children under the age of 10.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed his condolences to the United States over the deadly flooding in Texas.

Ukraine has sent Germany a major request for military aid. The list includes air defense systems, munitions, armored engineering vehicles, and other equipment needed by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, according to BILD and the German Aid to Ukraine (GAU) account, which tracks Berlin's military assistance to Kyiv.

According to BILD, Ukraine submitted a list of requested weapons, ammunition, and gear to the German government. The paper says both military and political sources confirmed the list’s existence.

Russia cancels hundreds of flights for second day amid airspace chaos

Russia is experiencing another collapse in its airports due to airspace restrictions. Hundreds of flights have been canceled for the second day in a row, especially in Moscow and St. Petersburg, according to Russia's Federal Agency for Air Transport and Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin.

Currently, flights are temporarily suspended at the following airports: Ivanovo Yuzhny (South), Kaluga (Grabtsevo), Saint Petersburg (Pulkovo), and Tambov (Donskoye). Pskov was also on the list, but recently lifted its restrictions.
