Kharkiv

Before the usual launch of Shahed drones, the Russians attacked Kharkiv with guided aerial bombs at around 9 p.m. Kyiv time. Following the explosions in the city, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, warned residents of the risk of repeated Russian attacks and clarified that the city center was under attack.

Later, the Kharkiv mayor, Ihor Terekhov, reported the first wounded, whose number was gradually increasing. In particular, Russia damaged the building of a medical facility and an administrative institution.

According to the head of the Presidential Office, Andrii Yermak, Russians shelled the building of the State Industry House (Derzhprom), which is a UNESCO-protected architectural monument and one of the world's examples of avant-garde architecture. In turn, Syniehubov added that the Russian strike destroyed several floors of the building and damaged hundreds of windows in administrative buildings, the regional hospital, and residential buildings.

Repeated Russian strikes of Kharkiv

At about 2:51 a.m. Kyiv time, Terekhov reported another Russian attack on Kharkiv with guided aerial bombs. The hit was recorded in the Osnovianskyi district. Russian strike hit the private sector, destroying two houses and causing various degrees of damage to about 20 others. The Kharkiv Regional Military Administration reported two fatalities but noted that more people, including children, may be under the rubble.

During the rescue and search operation, the bodies of 2 more victims of the Russian terrorist attack were later found.

At 7 a.m. Kyiv time, the State Emergency Service reported that as a result of Russian shelling in Kharkiv:

  • a house was destroyed;
  • 19 houses were partially damaged;
  • 4 cars were damaged.
  • bodies of 4 killed people, 2 women and 2 men, were pulled from the rubble.

Kryvyi Rih

After the shelling of Kharkiv, Russia attacked Kryvyi Rih. The head of the Kryvyi Rih Defense Council, Oleksandr Vilkul, said that a ballistic missile had struck the city and that there was a risk of a second attack.

A short time later, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak, said that Russia had shelled a three-story residential building, resulting in 10 people being wounded, according to preliminary data.

In particular, Russian shelling caused a fire in the house and outbuildings. A medical facility, a car, and a gas pipeline were also damaged.

At midnight, Vilkul reported 11 wounded people, as well as a 39-year-old man who had suffered a severe open head injury. He also added that there were a lot of damaged houses around the arrival site, with broken windows and balconies.

According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine at the time, the Russian attack destroyed 12 garages and set fire to a residential building and outbuildings on a total area of 500 square meters.

As of 8:38 a.m. Kyiv time, according to the SES, it is known about:

  • 1 killed;
  • 14 injured;
  • dozens of buildings damaged;
  • 12 garages destroyed.

Kyiv

After 4 a.m. Kyiv time, during an air raid alert, explosions were heard in Kyiv. Local authorities, in turn, announced the operation of air defense and called on civilians to stay in shelters until the alarm went off.

Solomianskyi district

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko warned of a call for medics to the Solomianskyi district. After a while, it turned out that a fire broke out in a residential building in the district as a result of the fall of Russian drone debris. In particular, several cars were on fire and there was a fire in a commercial building. learned about two victims, one of whom was hospitalized.

As of 8:20 a.m. Kyiv time, according to the State Emergency Service, the number of wounded in Solomianskyi district increased to 6.

Sviatoshynskyi district

Russian drone debris was also recorded in Sviatoshynskyi district.

Gas pipeline damaged

In addition, a gas pipeline was damaged as a result of the fall of Russian drone debris, which led to the suspension of the gas supply.

Russian large-scale Shaheds attack

That night, Russians also launched Shaheds, which resulted in an air alert in part of Ukraine. At the same time, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine warned of drones moving across the Sumy region in the direction of Chernihiv and Poltava regions.

Later, the drones also began moving westward toward the Kyiv region, and after a while were spotted in Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Poltava, and Cherkasy regions.

Some of them were also moving in the direction of the Zhytomyr region.

After 4 a.m. Kyiv time, the Ukrainian Air Force also warned of another group of drones in the Sumy region, which was heading toward the Chernihiv region. Later in the morning, one of the Shaheds changed course toward Kharkiv region.

Around 7 a.m. Kyiv time, Ukraine began to announce the lifting of the air alert.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, that night Russians launched an Iskander-M missile at the city of Kryvyi Rih and 48 drones of the Shahed type at Ukraine.

In particular, Russia was launching guided aerial bombs at the frontline territory in different directions around the clock.

Ukrainian air defense systems were operating in Kyiv, Cherkasy, Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, Sumy, Chernihiv, and Poltava regions.

As of 9 a.m. Kyiv time, 26 drones have been confirmed downed. Another 20 were locally lost, and one returned to Russia.
