Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces attacked the Kherson community, killing one person and injuring two others, while damaging residential buildings, garages, and infrastructure, according to a Telegram post by Kherson City Military Administration head Yaroslav Shanko.
On October 27 and during the night of October 28, four settlements in the Kherson community - Kherson, Sadove, Prydniprovske, and Antonivka - came under Russian attacks.
Russian troops targeted residential areas with artillery and strike drones. Rescue workers, energy crews, and municipal services are already on site, responding to the aftermath of the attacks.
Unfortunately, the attacks resulted in casualties: one person was killed and six others were injured. The victims received prompt medical attention.
Local authorities emphasize that Russian forces continue to deliberately target civilian infrastructure and residential areas, violating all norms of international humanitarian law.
Kherson Regional State Administration head Oleksandr Prokudin reported that over the past 24 hours, Russian troops struck critical and social infrastructure as well as residential neighborhoods, damaging an apartment building and six private houses. Additionally, outbuildings, a private garage, and vehicles were affected.
Kherson and the surrounding coastal settlements face daily enemy fire. Russian forces constantly shell from the left bank of the Dnipro, using artillery, mortars, and kamikaze drones.
For instance, on October 24, the head of the Ukrposhta branch in Kherson was killed in a Russian Grad missile strike.
