Kherson admin building burns for half a day after Russian attack

Russian occupiers attacked the previously destroyed Kherson regional administration building. The fire in the building lasted for almost half a day, according to the local outlet Most.
Kherson Defense Forces officer Ruslan Mykhailievskyi told the publication that around 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 30, the Russians shelled the Kherson regional administration building on Independence Avenue.
The administrative building had been destroyed earlier as a result of enemy airstrikes. The recent shelling caused a fire in the ruined Kherson regional administration building, which lasted all night.
According to reports, the State Emergency Service units were able to bring the fire under control only by the morning of August 31.
Preliminary data indicate that there were no casualties as a result of the strike and the fire.

It should be noted that the occupiers have repeatedly attacked the Kherson regional administration building. In early June, Russian forces destroyed the building with their strikes.
In August, local authorities showed what the Russian-damaged Kherson regional administration building looks like from the inside.
