Russian forces attacked the Kharkiv region overnight on September 13 with aerial bombs and drones. As a result of the strike, residential buildings and a hospital were damaged, and there were casualties, according to the State Emergency Service (DSNS) on Telegram.

"Overnight on September 13, the enemy attacked Kharkiv with aerial bombs and drones. In Kupiansk district, a residential building in the village of Balka caught fire, and a woman was injured. In Bohodukhiv district, in the village of Kalynove, a cultural center, residential buildings, and a hospital were damaged. Two women received assistance," the DSNS said.

It was reported that 37 rescuers and nine units of specialized equipment were involved in addressing the aftermath.

Russian strikes on Kharkiv region

According to the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russian occupiers launched 164 drones at Ukraine overnight on September 13. They also carried out ballistic missile attacks. The Air Forces noted that about 90 of the drones were Shaheds.

Air defense forces shot down 137 enemy drones in the north, south, east, and central regions of the country.

It should be recalled that on September 12, Russians attacked a medical brigade in the Kharkiv region with an attack drone, injuring two medics.

On the same day, Russian forces also struck a civilian vehicle in the Kharkiv region with an attack drone, injuring three people.
