Kharkiv residents hear explosion overnight

On the night of September 7, an explosion was heard in Kharkiv. The military had warned about the threat of drone attacks, according to Suspilne News on Telegram and the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine channel.
"An explosion was heard in Kharkiv, our correspondents reported," the message at 00:12 Kyiv time stated.
Earlier, the military had warned that several groups of Russian attack drones were detected in the Kharkiv region.
In addition, the monitoring channel Air Raid Alert Map reported that six drones were flying toward or over Kharkiv.
There have been no comments from the local authorities so far.
Attack on Kharkiv
Russian forces regularly shell Kharkiv, using drones, missiles, and air bombs for their attacks.
For example, on the night of August 18, the city came under a massive drone attack. Early in the morning, one of the Shahed drones struck a high-rise building in the Industrialnyi district, causing a fire on several floors across two entrances.
As a result, 7 people were reported dead and 24 were injured.
