US special representative for Ukraine and Russia, Keith Kellogg, is preparing for a visit to Ukraine. He plans to build on yesterday's talks between President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and US Vice President JD Vance, according to Kellogg's X account.

Trump's special representative called the talks between JD Vance and President Zelenskyy, which took place on the first day of the Munich Security Conference on February 14, "constructive."

"I will be building on VP Vance's constructive conversations with President Zelenskyy during my upcoming visit to Ukraine," Kellogg said in his post.

He also added a tweet from Ukraine's president regarding the talks with Vance at the Munich Security Conference-2025.

How the talks between Zelenskyy and Vance went

Yesterday, Zelenskyy shared that he had a "good meeting" with US Vice President Vance. The president also expressed gratitude to Vance and his entire team "for the discussion, with Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Special Envoy General Keith Kellogg also taking part."

"Our teams will continue to work on the document. We addressed many key issues and look forward to welcoming General Kellogg to Ukraine for further meetings and a deeper assessment of the situation on the ground," the Ukrainian president wrote on social media yesterday.

Zelenskyy also expressed Ukraine's readiness to move as quickly as possible toward a "real and guaranteed peace" and added that Kyiv values President Trump's determination, who "can help stop the war and secure justice and security guarantees for Ukraine."

Following his meeting with President Zelenskyy in Munich, US Vice President Vance also made a statement. He mentioned that a series of "good dialogues" had been held on how to achieve lasting peace together. He added that there would be more such dialogues in the coming days, weeks, and months.
