Kadyrov acknowledges drone attack in Grozny on special forces regiment, scares Ukraine with revenge
The head of the Chechen Republic (Russia), Ramzan Kadyrov, confirmed another drone attack on the building of a special forces regiment in Grozny last night. Allegedly, four soldiers were injured as a result, according to Kadyrov's Telegram channel.
According to him, a drone was allegedly shot down over the barracks of the Akhmat Kadyrov Police Regiment of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Chechnya, and the debris caused a small fire that was quickly extinguished.
“No one was seriously injured. Four soldiers of the guard were lightly injured. The personnel on duty at the time were in rooms protected from such attacks,” the Chechen leader said.
He added that the building did not suffer any serious damage and that the drone that detonated in the air damaged the roof and broke the windows.
Kadyrov has traditionally blamed Ukraine for the drone strike and issued an angry tirade about his intention to take revenge.
In addition, he allegedly spoke about the readiness of a reserve of 84,000 volunteers and fighters from the Chechen Republic to move to the front line at the first order.
“We will not let this go! We will kill 400 Ukrainians for these 4 wounded,” Kadyrov said.
Drone strikes on Grozny
As reported, last night, on December 12, it became known about explosions in the capital of Chechnya. There was an air attack with the use of a drone on the building of the second regiment of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Footage of the strike in Grozny was also posted online. Public media also reported that 5 ambulances took the wounded away.
Meanwhile, an explosion also occurred in Grozny about a week ago. At the same time, on December 4, Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov acknowledged the drone attack on the Akhmat Kadyrov Special Forces Police Regiment.
It should be added that in late October, drones attacked Kadyrov's Special Forces University in Chechnya.
