The Women's Tennis Association (WTA) has updated the world rankings, according to the official website.

Progress without playing

Elina Svitolina retained her 14th position, remaining Ukraine's top-ranked player. This marks her 380th week among the world's top 20 female tennis players.

Marta Kostyuk and Dayana Yastremska both improved their rankings simultaneously. Kostyuk moved up to 26th place (+1), while Yastremska rose to 27th (+1).

The country's leading tennis players have already finished the current season and are preparing for the next.

Outside the top 100

Yuliia Starodubtseva dropped three spots this week, now sitting at 115th.

Oleksandra Oliynikova, thanks to reaching the semifinals of the WTA 125 tournament in Florianopolis, set a personal best and rose to 135th (+4).

Anhelina Kalinina gained two places (157th), and Daria Snigur jumped five (165th).

Anastasiia Sobolieva lost a few positions and is currently 267th in the world.

Incredible breakthrough for Veronika Podrez

The most notable rise came from 18-year-old Veronika Podrez.

By winning the ITF W75 tournament in Poitiers, she jumped 110 places to 317th, the highest ranking of her career.
