Joan Plowright, star of 101 Dalmatians and Dennis the Menace, dies
British actress and two-time Golden Globe winner Joan Plowright has died at the age of 96, reports Sky News.
The actress reportedly died peacefully on January 16, surrounded by her family in Danville Hall.
"She enjoyed a long and illustrious career across theatre, film and TV over seven decades until blindness made her retire," the source said.

Joan Plowright was born in Briggs, Lincolnshire, Northern England in 1929. She studied at the Old Vic Theater School in Bristol and has appeared in numerous theater plays, television shows and films.
The actress has won Golden Globe Awards for Stalin and Enchanted April.
