Ivano‑Frankivsk rocked by strong explosions amid Kinzhal missile attack

Russian forces launched aeroballistic missile strikes on Ivano-Frankivsk. Powerful explosions were heard in the city, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.
At 05:51 Kyiv time, the enemy launched MiG-31 fighter jets into the air for the third time during the night. These aircraft are carriers of Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles.
A few minutes later, the military reported the movement of a high-speed target over the Zhytomyr region.
At 05:57, the Ukrainian Air Force reported that a Kinzhal missile was moving toward Starokostiantyniv and later heading further toward Ternopil and Ivano-Frankivsk regions.
Two minutes later, residents of Ivano-Frankivsk were advised to urgently take shelter.
Last night, the Russian army launched attacks on Ukraine using kamikaze drones, as well as cruise and ballistic missiles.
The first explosions in Ivano-Frankivsk were heard around 03:00. Air defense forces were targeting Shahed drones.
Around 05:30, the region was still under attack by drones, and cruise missiles launched by strategic aircraft were approaching.
