'It's just a question of time': Vance makes new statement on ending war in Ukraine

The war in Ukraine is the most difficult conflict in the world, but resolving it remains only a matter of time, US Vice President JD Vance said.
According to him, the US side expects positive developments from the upcoming talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
"I believe he (US President Donald Trump - ed.) will meet with President Zelenskyy either tomorrow or the day after. So I am sure there's going to be some good progress made," Vance said.

Vance emphasized that he prefers working as part of a team led by a president who is energetically trying to solve the problem, and expressed confidence in an eventual success.
"Do I think the Ukraine war is going to get solved eventually? Yes. It’s just a question of time," the American politician concluded.
Zelenskyy recently said that Ukraine and the US are preparing for a high-level meeting in New York that could have a significant impact on the further diplomatic track. The sides are currently working on possible de-escalation steps and security issues.
Today, in response to Trump's post, Zelenskyy said that Ukraine is ready to halt strikes on Russian oil refineries if the Kremlin takes corresponding steps toward de-escalation.
