Ukrainian Armed Forces continue offensive operations in the Melitopol sector: ISW maps
The Ukrainian General Staff reported that Ukrainian forces continued assault operations in the Bakhmut direction. Previously, Ukrainian troops continued ground operations on the eastern bank of the Kherson region, according to ISW.
Operation No. 1 - Luhansk region
According to ISW, on November 13, Russian troops continued localized offensives along the Kupiansk-Svatove line and confirmed successes. A geolocation video posted on November 13 shows that Russian troops advanced west of Volodymyrivka.
The Ukrainian General Staff reported that Ukrainian troops repelled more than 15 Russian attacks near Sinkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, Kyslivka, and Novoyehorivka.
Volodymyr Fitio, head of the public relations service of the Ukrainian Army's Land Forces Command, said that Ukrainian forces in the Kupiansk, Lyman, and Bakhmut directions are defending themselves against Russian units consisting of convicted recruits and regular Russian units, which are mainly composed of mobilized personnel.
A representative of a Ukrainian brigade operating in the Kupiansk sector stated that Russian forces in the area often attack in groups of up to 10 people each and four to five vehicles, elements the size of a squadron with limited combat power.
Russian sources claimed that Ukrainian forces unsuccessfully counterattacked along the Kupiansk-Svatove-Kreminna line on November 13. The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that elements of Russian forces repelled four Ukrainian attacks in the area of Zahoruyivka and Tymkivka and that elements of the Russian Central Group of Forces repelled five attacks in the area of Kreminna, Dibrova, and Bilohorivka.
Fitio Volodymyr said that Ukrainian forces are conducting adaptive offensives to improve their tactical positions in the Kupiansk, Lyman, and Bakhmut directions.
Operation No. 2 - Donetsk region
ISW reported that on 13 November, Ukrainian forces carried out ground attacks near Bakhmut, but did not achieve any confirmed success. The Ukrainian General Staff stated that their forces continued assault operations in the Bakhmut direction.
The Russian Ministry of Defence (MoD) and other Russian sources claim that Russian troops repelled Ukrainian attacks near Klishchiivka, Kurdyumivka, and Ivanivka.
On November 13, the Institute reported that Russian troops carried out localized offensive operations near Bakhmut and confirmed their offensive. Geolocation video footage released on November 12 indicated that Russian troops moved forward towards the west of Yahidne.
The Ukrainian General Staff confirmed that Ukrainian troops successfully thwarted Russian attacks towards the east of Klishchiivka and near Dubovo Vasylivka, Ivanivske, and Andriivka.
Several Russian military bloggers have claimed that Russian troops crossed the railway line close to Klishchiivka and are now establishing control over positions in the northern area of Klishchiivka. However, ISW cannot confirm this claim at present.
One Russian blogger stated that Russian troops expelled Ukrainian forces from Klishchiivka several days ago, while another blogger contended that Ukrainian forces still hold control over Klishchiivka. ISW did not witness any visible indication of Russian advances into Klishchiivka.
Certain Russian sources asserted that Russian forces progressed towards Bohdanivka and formed fresh positions close to the Berkhove water reservoir.
On November 13, Russian troops persisted with their offensive near Avdiivka and gained confirmed territory, as per ISW. Recent geo-located video footage from November 10 indicates that Russian forces have advanced to the eastern outskirts of Stepove.
The Ukrainian General Staff disclosed that Russian troops attempted unsuccessful attacks to the southeast and south of Novokalynove, east of Pervomaiske and Novobakhmutivka, and near Avdiivka and Severne.
Russian military bloggers reported ongoing fighting near the Avdiivka coke plant and landfill in the north.
One blogger stated that Ukrainian forces control at least half of the Avdiivka Coke Plant and that alleged reports of Russian forces seizing the plant are false. However, ISW has not observed any Russian claims of seizing the Avdiivka Coke Plant.
A Russian blogger from the military claimed that Russian troops forced Ukrainian forces out of unidentified positions in an industrial area on the southern side of Avdiivka. However, ISW did not witness any visual evidence supporting this assertion.
Russian bloggers claimed that on November 13, Ukrainian forces successfully counterattacked and advanced in the Avdiivka area. Specifically, one blogger stated that Ukrainian forces had advanced near a railway station in Stepove and the Tsarske Pohliuvannya restaurant, directly south of Avdiivka.
Another blogger claimed that Ukrainian forces had attempted an unsuccessful attack near Krasnohorivka.
On November 13, ISW reported that Russian forces launched limited ground attacks in the western and southwestern areas of Donetsk, but failed to achieve any confirmed success. The General Staff confirmed that Ukrainian forces resisted Russian attacks near Maryinka and Novomykhailivka.
A Russian military blogger claimed that Russian troops had established a foothold near Novomykhailivka, but were unsuccessful in storming the town.
Ukrainian forces did not carry out any recorded or verified ground assaults to the west and southwest of Donetsk on November 13.
Southern Axis
A Russian military blogger reported that Ukrainian forces restarted ground assaults near the border of the Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions, but failed to advance on November 13.
Meanwhile, another military blogger alleged that Ukrainian troops launched an offensive north of Novodonetske and Novomaiorsk, resulting in ongoing positional combat in the area.
On November 13, Russian troops carried out ground attacks along the border of the Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions. However, they did not report or confirm any successful attacks.
The General Staff also mentioned that Russian troops attempted attacks to the south of Zolota Niva and near Staromaiorsk, but both were unsuccessful.
Despite a Russian military blogger's claims that Russian soldiers remain active near Urozhaine and north of Pryyutne, ISW has not witnessed any significant Russian advances in the area for several months.
ISW reported that Ukrainian troops carried out counteroffensive operations in the western region of Zaporizhzhia on November 13 without any confirmed successes.

Meanwhile, a Russian source stated that Russian troops counterattacked from Novofedorivka, but did not provide any specifics about the result.

A Russian blogger declared that units from the Russian 810th Marine Brigade (Black Sea Fleet) were conducting operations near Krynky. Earlier it was reported that Ukrainian counter-offensive operations had made the 810th Marine Brigade ineffective as of September 22.

The Operational Command South confirmed that the Russian military conducted four air strikes using 41 bombs on settlements in the same region the previous day.
