Israeli air forces have demolished about fifty terror towers in the Gaza Strip over the past two days. At the same time, IDF troops are preparing to enter Gaza City, according to an address by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Netanyahu noted that today was a difficult day for Israel in its fight against terror, as two terrorists opened fire on a bus, killing six Israelis.

According to him, simply eliminating the two terrorists is not enough. Israel intends to go after their accomplices as well.

The Prime Minister said he had ordered a tough response against "terror nests." In particular, such nests were destroyed in three refugee camps.

"Right now, I am at the underground Air Force command center. A few days ago, I promised you that we would demolish the terror towers in Gaza – and that is exactly what we are doing. Over the past two days, 50 such towers have been destroyed by our air forces. But this is only the beginning of a large-scale ground operation; our forces are already preparing to enter Gaza City," he emphasized.

Netanyahu urged Gaza residents to leave the city.

Israeli offensive

On August 29, it became known that Israel was preparing to storm Gaza. The area where the city is located has already been designated as a dangerous combat zone.

At the same time, yesterday, September 7, rumors appeared in the media that Israel might cancel the offensive on Gaza if Hamas militants agree to sign a peace deal and release all hostages.
