On June 20, the Israel Defense Forces eliminated a commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) responsible for drone launches, according to a statement from the IDF press service.

“Yesterday, the Israeli Air Force carried out a strike and eliminated Aminpour Judaki, commander of the IRGC Air Force’s Second UAV Brigade,” the Israeli military reported.

According to the IDF, Judaki was responsible for organizing drone launches toward the State of Israel from the Ahvaz region in southwestern Iran.

“Judaki took on a key role in operations following the elimination of IRGC Air Force Commander Taher Fura on June 13, 2025,” the IDF added.

Israel’s operation in Iran

Israel’s operation against Iran began overnight on June 13, when the country’s Air Force launched strikes on the Islamic Republic’s nuclear and military facilities.

In the first days, the IDF succeeded in eliminating several Iranian commanders and at least 14 Iranian nuclear scientists.

On June 20, Israel destroyed ballistic missile launchers and another commander who was operating at one of the missile launch sites in Iran.

Israel also attempted to eliminate an Iranian nuclear scientist using a drone strike in central Tehran.
