The Israel Defense Forces struck a weapons warehouse belonging to Hezbollah's air defense unit, according to the IDF and The Times of Israel.

It was reported that recently, Israeli fighter jets struck a Hezbollah weapons warehouse in the northeastern Bekaa Valley of Lebanon.

According to the IDF, the site was used to store weapons employed by Hezbollah's air defense unit.

"The presence of weapons in the area poses a threat to the State of Israel and constitutes a blatant violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon," the military added.

Israel-Hezbollah confrontation

Last year, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) eliminated nearly all of the leaders of Hezbollah. In September, Israeli forces initiated a ground operation against Lebanese terrorists in the southern part of the country.

By the end of November, Israel and Hezbollah reached a ceasefire agreement. Under this agreement, Israeli forces were to withdraw from the country within 60 days, and the Lebanese army was tasked with taking control of the southern regions to prevent the return of militants.

However, the ceasefire has been regularly violated in practice. Israel frequently targets military sites of Lebanese terrorists who are not adhering to the agreement.

In late March, the IDF eliminated one of Hezbollah's anti-tank unit commanders.

Earlier in March, Israeli forces attacked the Radwan command center in southern Lebanon.
