The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that it had struck an Iranian nuclear facility. The Iranian regime was working on critical capabilities in the field of nuclear weapons development at this facility, according to The Times of Israel.
The target was a facility near Tehran identified as the Talegan complex. The IDF has carried out a series of strikes on it in recent days.
Iran has used this facility in recent years to develop advanced explosives and conduct secret experiments as part of the AMAD project (Iran's secret nuclear weapons program).
"The Iranian regime has continued efforts to advance and develop capabilities required for the development of a nuclear weapon," the IDF says.
The recent strike is part of a series of operations aimed at further undermining the nuclear ambitions of the Iranian terrorist regime.
Israel already attacked the Talegan complex in October 2024. According to the Israeli military, Iran took steps to rebuild the complex after those strikes.
On March 8, Israel launched massive strikes on Iranian oil facilities. In particular, after the attack, a fire broke out at the Shahran oil refinery in Tehran.
After that, Israeli media reported that US President Donald Trump's envoys would urgently arrive in Israel, as Washington considered the attacks on oil facilities not the best idea.
Later, the US asked Israel to stop striking Iran's energy and oil infrastructure. This is the first time an ally's actions have been restricted since the joint operation began.
Recently, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated in a video message that his country seeks to help the Iranian people break free from the yoke of tyranny.
According to him, it is the citizens of Iran who must take the decisive step to change the government in their country.
