Another powerful explosion has been heard in the Lebanese capital of Beirut. Israel said it had struck again, reports CNN.
“Smoke can be seen rising from the city’s southern suburbs, where Israel has carried out a series of strikes recently,” a CNN crew reported.
At the same time, the Israeli Defense Forces said it had carried out a “precise” strike on the southern Beirut neighborhood of Dahiyeh. According to the statement, details will be provided later.

On Friday, as a result of an Israeli attack on the same area (Dahiyeh), Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah was killed. Initially, the media had contradictory information about his fate, but today the group confirmed the death of the leader.
CNN writes that Israel continued to bomb southern Beirut all night on Saturday, claiming to be targeting buildings that store weapons for the military group.
