Israel strikes Hezbollah military targets in Lebanon once again
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) carried out airstrikes on Hezbollah targets in Lebanon, reports the IDF.
The department noted that Israeli fighter jets attacked targets belonging to the terrorist organization Hezbollah in Lebanon during the night of October 31.
"Recently, IAF fighter jets struck Hezbollah's terrorist infrastructure in Lebanon, including weapons, posts, and their facilities," as stated in the Israel Defense Forces' announcement.
Hamas attack on Israel and tensions with Hezbollah
On October 7, Hamas militants from the Gaza Strip launched attacks on the southern and central regions of Israel. Thousands of rockets and projectiles were fired across the country, leading to increased tensions, including confrontations with Hezbollah, along the Israeli-Lebanese border on a daily basis.
Backed by Iran, the militants targeted Israeli outposts and forces along the border with rocket fire on multiple occasions. According to media reports, the United States is considering the possibility of a military response in the event of a Hezbollah attack on Israel.
On October 23, the Israel Defense Forces launched a massive assault on Hezbollah strongholds in Lebanon and conducted strikes on dozens of targets in the Gaza Strip controlled by Hamas.
Additionally, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), known as the IDF, carried out airstrikes on Hezbollah targets in Lebanon in response to rocket launches towards Israeli territory during the night of October 30.
