Israel condemns Russian strikes on the civilian population, said Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar during a briefing with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha.

"My heart is with the families who lost their loved ones, my prayers are with the injured. We know what it is like to be under attack with the family, with the children. We condemn Russia's strikes against civilians," Sa'ar said.

He said that Israel supports Ukraine and the Ukrainian people.

The minister assured that they hope for justice and accountability that will bring security to Ukraine, emphasizing that Israel stands with the Ukrainians.

He also mentioned the humanitarian aid Israel has provided to Ukraine since the start of the full-scale invasion.

Sa'ar said that a few weeks ago, he sent a delegation from the ministry to Ukraine to support water supply systems in areas affected by attacks. He noted that this aid will be implemented soon.

The Israeli Foreign Minister stressed that Israel will continue to assist Ukrainians who remain in the country despite the danger.
