Israel prepares for days-long attack by Iran and Hezbollah

Israel is preparing for a potential multi-day missile and drone attack by Iran and Hezbollah, reports NBC News.
According to an Israeli official, the country fears that in response to the assassination of Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh and Hezbollah commander Fouad Shukr, waves of rockets and drones could be launched into Israel within days.
"They'll just try to wear us out," the official said.
He also said that the United States is exerting strong pressure to achieve a ceasefire in the war between Israel and Hamas. According to the Israeli official, US President Joe Biden wants this to happen during his term in office.
Late in the evening of August 3, the Hezbollah terrorist group attacked the north of Israel. The IDF confirmed the attack and said that the Israeli Defense Forces had struck at Lebanon.
