Israel may come under new attack in coming days - BBC
In the coming days, Israel may come under attack again. This information emerged after today's Hezbollah attack, reports the Jerusalem Post.
According to the newspaper, the first wave of Hezbollah attacks this morning is likely to be followed by a second wave carried out by another group in the Middle East.
BBC correspondent Nafiseh Kohnavard, citing anonymous security sources in the West and the Middle East, said that the next attack on Israel is expected to come from another country.
“The second wave of the retaliatory attacks against Israel is expected to come from “another country”, two Western and Middle Eastern security officials who are overseeing the situation, tell me. Eyes on Yemen perhaps before Iran?” said Kohnavard.
Attack on Israel
This morning, Hezbollah attacked Israeli territory. According to the militants, more than 300 Katyusha missiles were fired at Israel. At the same time, 11 military targets were hit.
The group called the shelling the “first phase” of its response to the assassination of senior Hezbollah commander Fouad Shukr in Beirut.
Shortly before the strike, Tel Aviv noted that the militants were preparing an attack on Israel.
The United States reacted to the missile exchange between Israel and Hezbollah.
